Hey everyone! I finally feel much more comfortable in myself in sharing how I learned my moral views and life and adapted to become somewhat the person I am today. This is a brand new collective way of life, which I did not make myself. I only innovated what was currently there and somehow it may help you, but it's something I also always alluded to in my videos and writing. So here it is in a simple article!

Disclaimer: You do not have to follow this lifestyle as it's a humble and boring way, but also very peaceful yet powerful.

Premise:

First, I'm not an expert, but I like to make observations and think like a scientist, and I have found that most of the things or actions and decisions people make often lead to regret. However, I wanted to understand that reason and I also wondered why people react differently or what makes us react the way we do towards different situations. It may not make sense now, but I hope I can write it out in simple terms so that anyone can easily understand how powerful your perceivement of life can impact obviously your life.

I will also list out resources that you can read, and then I will form my theory and a new establishment of what I have coined my way of life. In fact, let me coin it now, it's called Xaiyunism, which is a practice moreso meaning: "the way of living life focused on the present that involves you".

If you ever feel like your lost and don't know what to believe in, this way of life ensures that whatever you choose to believe will become your reason and purpose to live on without regrets or hesitation. So, if you like that and what you read/hear, then please feel free to read the whole article and leave a comment for constructive feedback and criticism.

Resources:

Here are a few resources that I'll borrow, but also add in my taste for the theory and innovation of this newly coined term called Xaiyunism (explained in later sections).

https://cbmw.org/2015/03/31/15-principles-true-christianity-teaches/

These resources will be good enough to confer the idea of Xaiyunism. As I mentioned before, this isn't some groundbreaking discovery, and I deserve little credit. I'm only innovating what's there and what has worked and is currently working for me! You can also adapt it to your own personal style because Xaiyunism is all about the individual and not the belief of the lifestyle itself. You define the lifestyle with the core principles and adapt to the world as you see fit. It may seem like I'm just telling you to live your life, which is kind of the point (or seem like), but at least there is a solid foundation to go off of for the lost and those finding their way again.

In the following sections, I will briefly go over each way of living and then collectively put them together with my observations and experience into Xaiyunism and I hope that it will make sense. I forgot to mention, that I'll try to define them in my own way and how I see fit, which may not exactly correlate to their actual meaning but closely.

Zen:

To me, Zen is all about the acceptance of life and learning how to cope with situations despite them being positive or negative. It is also a practice of life in finding inner peace with yourself and nature. As the main key points of zen are; finding your mediation technique, enjoying the moment, happiness is closer than you think, focus on the process, the belief that being alive is the meaning of life (dariusforoux.com).

See that each key point isn't about living life based on the results you get, but it focuses more on you developing better practices and habits that (only) benefit the goals and dreams you are aiming for. In context, some goals and dreams would be to be rich, but we all know not everyone can be rich; obviously because of the limitations of work, intelligence, resources, and people in general (aka rich people make people rich to stay rich, duh).

When you have Zen, you also focus a few 10 minutes to 30 minutes a day in solitude, as finding peace and quiet to think and be devoured by nature is a wonderful feeling, and I think it's better than those plants (I do not do those plants, I believe in natural highs with the mind and just thinking about peace and tranquility).

Some useful ways I practice to achieve Zen meditation is to be in a room with no lights on, make sure there are no sounds except for ambient sound; sit in any comfortable position you like, close your eyes, focus on your breathing for the first 3 minutes, then your mind, then your heartbeat, then your mind, and then anything you feel like focusing on that makes you elevated (you will know what I mean, once you try it).

Ikigai:

Alright, this definition is also from the article and I believe it as well. There are five pillars that underpin the foundations of ikigai, and they are: Starting small, releasing yourself, harmony and sustainability, the joy of little things, and being in the here and now (www.marieclaire.co.uk).

Now as you can see, there are some pretty useful key points here as well that I borrowed. I feel like most of them are self-explanatory, but I will make it even easier. You never want to set goals to high for yourself, and you never want to expect that you achieve the best outcome possible. It may sound like an engineer's approach to life, but it's actually an important way of living that anyone can learn. Also, try not to linger too much in the past and you have done wrong, but focus on what you can do now to make up for your bad decisions and mistake, but never expect people to give you hope because people inevitably are the last person to trust, which is based on another belief from my observations.

With that, Ikigai is a vital concept to understand because it's a big chunk of the foundation of Xaiyunism for its simplicity and buildable and flexible structure of key points.

Here is an awesome chart found particularly from, https://www.ladonairajournal.com/home/2018/2/14/ikigai-is-the-new-hygge

Taoism:

Taoism isn't complicated but it has a ton of information that one can get lost in. However, I will list out what I believe is essential and important to Xaiyunism. As a note, please don't use the direct knowledge of Taoism in all of its entirety, but do read the article listed above for clarity (if you seriously need help, I 100% urge you to read it, it will help cure your crippling anxiety and depression).

As Taoism categorizes stages to life and how people will focus on themselves, I will choose each important aspect and then expand them with my own observations.

First Level - Is about knowing how to reach peace with your mind; being able to drop all your worries and know that everything in life is temporary.

Second Level - That all physical damage can heal with time and patience to be happy.

Third Level - As you grow through life, you should allow your wisdom to also grow in the right direction to which your goal is (please have harmless goals).

Fourth Level - After achieving the first 3 levels, you will be (if possible), able to connect to the other realm of life... I would believe only a few people get here, as it's dangerous and powerful!

Fifth Level - Basically, you are a more refined human and have total self-control of yourself and do not allow instincts of nature to take over. An example, can be like an urge to scratch or say things.

Sixth Level - This is a highly functioning state where you choose to exist with the world or flow unnoticed. Other humans perceive these beings as unfathomable and unpredictable because humans cannot "read" them.

Seventh Level - You become one with the lifestream, and whenever harm comes to others, you will try to save them, even if they were once your enemy.

As you can tell, I tried to describe each stage in my own words, while adding a bit of Xaiyunism in it. I highly encourage you to at least reach the third level of Taoism, as I have felt that the fourth level also has special requirements that are hard to come by. I believe you need to live through a life-death situation in order to ascend to the fourth level and beyond.

I believe that's all you need to know about Taoism because the foundations here are used in Xaiyunism.

Christianity:

Nowadays, I'm not sure what Christianity is becoming or veering towards... I do know that many have lost faith in religion, and that is not good for Xaiyunism as it acknowledges an existence of a being powerful than human (and all else). I will cut to the chase and borrow what is needed for Xaiyunism so I don't want to spend time beating the bush of saying you should believe in God and whatever.

In Christianity (true or my own words, the article is pretty good in what I also believe from observation and experience)...

1. We acknowledge that there is a creator of life that is powerful beyond imagination and they treat all living organisms as equal and can control and give us control when proven.

2. Believers of the creator of life, or you can say, God, know that hate is temporary, but forgiveness is everlasting.

3. Beings that have caused selfish decisions that are harmful to others have to re-earn their virtue and repent for it.

4. Anyone is able to join Christianity, as the same with Xaiyunism, as the doors are always open for there is no prejudice and discrimination, as anyone who is given life is because of life's rules itself.

5. Finally, the creator will intervene when necessary if the natural laws of balance are altered in life (humans unlikely to do, but can assist to).

With that list, I hope you will be able to think about what is written. If you don't believe in something higher than yourself, your ego will consume you and you won't become humble at all or know humility, which many adults lack these days...

What is Xaiyunism?:

With what I have explained already in the above sections for each four chosen ways of life, if you combine them, you can Xaiyunism. A better and adaptive way of living life, so that you will feel empowered to wake up every day and enjoy life.

The word Xaiyunism itself, is basically this: Xai or Zai in Chinese means now, and yu as in you for the individual, yun means cloud in Chinese, and then ism is for the practice itself. With that, it's a way of life that focuses on the now for an individual and is flexible like a cloud going through the sky: kind of like the flow. As an easter egg, Xaiyu is also my nickname derived from my online alias Xaiyeon :), which is also an anagram for my full name in real life. So maybe it was meant to be? Only you can decide that for me.

For the foundations of Xaiyunism, it follows along with Taoism and Christianity, but then also involves the practice of Zen and Ikigai. Therefore, if you want to know where you are at, it has four levels I innovated.

1st Level - Learning and living phase, you will spend 50% of your life here.

2nd Level - Living and Understanding phase, you will spend 30% of your life here.

3rd Level - Understanding and Tragedy phase, you will spend 15% of your life here.

4th Level - Tragedy and Ascending phase, you will spend 5% of your life here.

Although there I have also listed the approximate time one will spend time in, this also means that a few percentages of beings ever make it to the 4th level. This means it is possible that a being or human can remain at the 1st level until death.

Xaiyunism Layed Out:

Now, Xaiyunism, as you may have a clear understanding now is comprised of Taoism, Zen, Ikigai, and Christianity, but you may wonder why not the other beliefs and such? That is true, and I may have overlooked many, but this is just how it came to myself personally and how I explored these particular ways of life currently. Remember, Xaiyunism encourages that you alter the way of life to suit your needs, it is not a replacement for your personal morals and beliefs, only a supplement. Now you may wonder, all of these are heavily Asian influenced, and that is true, but I have also looked at others like Catholic, Communism (not really applies), Hindu, and lifestyle of other cultures and ethnicities, but these seemed to sum up my own personal observations and experience, so it's all coincidental.

With that, if you wanted to start fresh, I will explain it clear and simple.

The main goal and purpose of Xaiyunism are: to live life, not for the sake of living, but to live life knowing that life is a gift you decide the contents of. So, your final gift is only seen at the end of your life (it adapts as well to where you are at and what level of Xaiyunism).

At the start of Xaiyunism, it helps to start with the base foundation of Taoism from stages 1 to 3, you must also have the belief that a greater being will help you with your life and you entrust your soul to them (trying to be gender-friendly :)). With that, always practice at least bi-daily or weekly Zen meditation for a few minutes (like 10 to 30), just to get a feel of life and finding your inner peace; take this time to be thankful for what you have, and remind yourself of your dreams and goals that you can reach (it's okay to have huge dreams, but set realistic goals, like study 1 hour tomorrow or eat a salad today, etc.). You can start whenever you want, so it can apply during elementary school, university, or your "career" phase, it doesn't matter.

Throughout this journey, you need to remember Ikigai (it's really not that much), and that moderation is key to everything you do. Remember to focus on the now, and what is to come soon, and remember to notice the little things in life and appreciate them.

Now following all as mentioned in the above sections (I'm not going to repeat myself), there will be or not be a huge turning point in your life, a life-death situation (do not try to force it, as it has to be a natural cause by the creator themself, hard to explain and understand this, I'm sorry). From there, you will recover with time and naturally grow to the 3rd level of Xaiyunism, which kind of correlates to stages 4 to 6 in Taoism, however, in Xaiyunism you are more inclined to focus on finding similar people going through your tragedy and help them too. You may start to even understand the inner workings of this world and how mostly everything operates in certain cycles and flows, it may even seem like life is all figured out, clear, and easy, and it's just up to if you want to live life unnoticed and peacefully, or be out there (famous, I guess). This is a more collaborative stage, and it cannot be done alone. It's not a typical thing someone goes through, as afterward, you will feel blessed than before.

The 4th level of Xaiyunism is the highest. It's basically the last remaining stages of Taoism, but still encouraging the belief of the creator, you live side-by-side and serve together in life. You are also in control of many aspects of your life and become completely unreadable to only those, not at the 4th level of Xaiyunism. One final thing is that Xaiyunism's 4th level does not mean you will be rich in life or be a poor person, it's not a definition of one's success, but the journey they have taken. So, you can be rich or poor and have achieved the 4th level of Xaiyunism.

Lastly, again, you cannot and are not allowed to disclose what you think another being's level of Xaiyunism they are in because it's a personal journey and cannot be measured from the outside. Only the person within oneself can measure and figure out where they are at.

More To Come:

Xaiyunism isn't that complex and I have found that my personal experiences and observations of others and curiosity of life have led to this way of life. I live by it subconsciously. I know it may sound too good to be true, but stop pretending and making excuses for yourself to not live up to your potential. Well, if you choose that way, then don't complain.

If there is anything else to add to Xaiyunism, it is that once you feel like you have a grasp of the foundations, you can adapt your own way of life that suits you.

To conclude, if there is something I'm missing or there needs to be more clarification somewhere please let me know.

Thank You:

Thank you very much for reading my articles all the time. I hope you enjoyed this one... Xaiyunism is something I innovated and created and decided to share it to you because it is a very tough time right now in 2020.
