This summer was incredible if you know what I mean. Now let's hope this season of anime will just be as incredible than the long 14 years of waiting, haha...

Disclaimer: These are personal selections and you don't have to follow it!

Summer 2018:

On the recent news of websites, MyAnimeList is in a huge recovery period. If you have not heard about the refactoring of basically their entire back-end and possibly API as well due to vulnerabilities found after the new Europe GDP. Onto happy news, for this season's pick of anime, I went on to look at one of the best sites, which is anichart, to find so many unique titles. I'm also a proud supporter of the site!

This summer has been a let down for me personally, but the Incredibles movie was great. Now we can proudly say that we have the longest patients in this generation because we wait for 14 years, haha. Right? Hopefully, we can keep summer going with this season's hot anime line-up. I am lowkey excited to watch Attack on Titan season three, but of course, continuing seasons are not chosen for these topics.

Anime Selected:

Below is a screenshot from anichart of the anime selected. Honestly, there are probably some good hits on the chart, but I chose these because I was looking for something spicy that glowed in my eyes if I stared at the anime. I think the two I'm most probably interested below is Banana Fish and Grand Blue.

The main reasons I'm calling those to be one of THE top HITS is because they have a great blend of genres with nice animation and an appeal of style that matches their said genres. First, Banana Fish has that action, adventure, and drama feel; in addition, the setting and background story is interesting, I mean "toy of 'Papa'"? That's going to be some deep drama right there. On the other side of our serious grandeur spectrum, we have the GRAND BLUE! This anime has comedy and the mixture of two popular genres when it comes to leisure watching. Also, I'm positive the comedy will be decent since it's about college students. Practically any adult is still a college student, am I right?

That's it for my input, let's see the trailers of my top 8 pick, which wasn't hard to choose.

The Anime:

Since I didn't have a terribly tough time picking eight of them, I will hope to pick more this coming fall season, haha... Also these trailer links will probably dissappear like usual.

Banana Fish -

Itching for some adventure, action, and drama? Banana Fish is going to twist your mind, probably. Also I'm really liking the sound track, you should give it a listen. If you enjoyed Megalo Box, you might enjoy it like I did!

Grand Blue -

Grand Blue makes we want to live anew, seriously. In a happier world. Also, I love the music in this trailer. The animation has a bit of Jojo feels in it, and it's going to be lit man. This anime is going to be hit I tell you. Who doesn't like comedy, screaming, swimming, and most importantly, some healthy feels.

Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu -

Yes, I was too lazy to type out this title. Hmmm... I'm not too sure about this anime but it does mention urban legend.

Muhyo to Rouji no Mahoritsu Soudan Jimusho -

Seriously these titles are so long... This has horror and comedy, which is a unique blend. It could be good.

Phantom in The Twilight -

Like this title, I'm sleepy! A cafe that involves mystery magic... It has that Twilight feel honestly, but maybe the story is different. Have a look for yourself!

Satsuriku no Tenshi -

I couldn't sleep. Let's just leave it at that.

Tenrou: Sirius the Jaeger -

It has Jaeger in the title, which is for high-class people. So I guess it could be a high-class epic anime. Is it really published by Warner Bros in the trailer (not sure)?

Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san -

I remember reading the manga a bit. Of course I forgot, too many other things on my mind :').

Minor Thoughts:

Sorry, the article winded down towards the end, I'm tired at the moment. However, now that I took time to actually watch the trailers this season for the anime I have picked, I say we have a decent line-up and I guess I have time to watch anime, since I'm done with University.

Thank You:

Thanks for reading this article! What anime do you plan to watch? Have a fantastic day~
