Anime To Watch - Spring 2019

Star InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar Inactive

Hopefully, the rainy season has calmed down and flowers are in the bloom. Within the fresh presence of Spring we have some great continuing shows like One Punch Man 2, Attack on Titan, and additional unique ones. What's worth watching this time?

Disclaimer: These are personal selections and you don't have to follow it!

Spring 2019:

For this season's pick of anime, I went on to look at one of the best sites, which is Anichart, to find so many unique titles. I am honestly not that interested that much in this season... Moreso, I have been trying to work on my "career" a little more and improve my knowledge (somehow) in my field. So when I saw the line-up for this season, I was a bit unentertained (that's not a word apparently). The lack of quality in most of the shows was kind of bothersome. On the other hand, what I have been watching more of recently, which may surprise some, are east-asia drama shows...

Yes, drama shows. For some reason seeing the people in the drama shows suffer, struggle, and get through the hardships gives me hope! So if you are feeling down, watch a good drama show, it reminds you how other people can get seriously messed up in life (even though it is an act).

Anyways... -text transition- The anime this season and some leftovers like Shield Hero, Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari, is still on-going along with some other ones. So yea, Spring this season for anime isn't too spectacular.

Anime Selected:

Below is a screenshot from Anichart of the anime selected.

I had a difficult time choosing this time around since I do not include continuing seasons or remakes. Here they are:

The Anime:

I actually have picked less than I usually suggest, but that's because there are still some good leftovers and continuing season anime: as I mentioned above.

Kimetsu no Yaiba -

Ohhhh boy, I'm a bit scared of how expressive the characters are in this anime. The combat looks great though, and the setting is unique and interesting.

Fairy Gone -

War has gotten out of control...

The use of 3D actually doesn't look that bad this time. 3D animation seems to be the new shift for many studios.

Boku-tachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai -

Everyone is saying it's or might be the new Nisekoi?

Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san -

A girl who is 300 years old (or 800+) and takes care of our salaryman or so? I'm not even sure if it's going to be something I would watch. Just for the comedy maybe.

Hitoribocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu -

A wildcard pick only for the comedy...

Shoumetsu Toshi -

Now this one gives me Inuyashiki vibes and a bit of Terror in Resonance with a little bit of Guilty Crown in some ways. I kind of like this one, but I'm not sure if the story will be as good. Only because it has weird magic, and magic always does weird things to any story...

Minor Thoughts:

I'm already looking forward to summer.

I may stick to watching more drama shows actually...  Are you watching any drama shows?

Thank You:

Sorry if I rarely update anything anymore. I'm actually working on another side project called Unicausal, but it's very challenging for me because I'm studying and learning on my own... Thank you for taking a few minutes to read this article. I hope you enjoy the anime this season. Have a fantastic day!
